2023 “Madonna and Child” Ornament

Pearl River Glass Studio makes it our mission to design a new Christmas tree ornament yearly. The 2023 “Madonna and Child” Ornament captures a stylized scene of the Christ Child swaddled in the robes of his mother, whose concealed expression reflects her foreknowledge of his crucifixion (as pictured). Inspired by the lyrical painting, Madonna and Child, this silhouette evokes emotions of love and tenderness between mother and child, of hope and protection.
